In the foreground, two examples of colonial architecture: the building in yellow is the Asian Civilizations Museum and the tower is part of the Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall. Behind them, the grassy cricket field of the Padang and the tallest hotel in Singapore, the Swisshotel (which also has a very nice view.)
